Mission statements

1

Adaptive is something that can be flexible and fits many scenarios. It survives things and knows how to move in different environments without imposing much. It knows how to read a room, but is never embarrassed, as it is always in process.

Adoptive is an active strategy of welcoming. Not judging but seeing open to foster many forms of being and doing. Also, an adoptive community is in constant re-shape with lasting members and shared agency.

Adoaptive is an amalgam for a welcoming flexibility of co-creation. It is a playful strategy of mixing and sketching 3rd alternatives beyond the “either” and the “or”. Adoaptive is a mix between transformation process and rooting kin.

2

To adapt is to learn from interacting with one’s surroundings and what it means to be situated somewhere. Adaption comes with awareness, openness and fluidity. Adaption is trust and a certain kind of naïveté.

Adoption is a different, more active kind of awareness, therefore it is more critical. To adopt means to consciously chose your and other people’s “destiny” whereas destiny might be too big of a word for it. To adopt means to host, to take in, to welcome.

Adoaptive is a synchronization of trustful adaption and critical adoption, a balance between absorbing what there is but critically fostering of what we want more of.
